The Festival Pass is the paid entry credential: 75 kr, valid one year, one-time (not a subscription). Everyone needs one; it unlocks the entry credential (wallet / QR / wristband) and the buy-actions. It is LiveCloud’s own product, so it is additive and does not touch the festival’s ticket revenue. Two sides: the operator comps it for free, or the guest buys it in the app.
Operator (FMS) comps a free pass for authorities / artists / staff / VIP. Guest (app) buys the 75 kr pass; without it, buy-actions are blocked, and near expiry a renewal prompt appears.
Give a specific guest the pass for free, bypassing the 75 kr fee. A comped pass is identical to a paid one at the gate.
Drift → Deltagere, open the guest.
Handlinger → Giv gratis festivalpas.
Type a reason in Årsag (required, audit log), then confirm.
“Gratis festivalpas tildelt.” Access unlocks, valid one year.
Re-comping the same guest is safe. It returns the existing pass, never a duplicate. Setup: the “Festival Pass” product (type PlatformAccess, 75,00 kr, meta.platform_access {one_time, 365d}) must exist for the summit. See the FMS guide.
In the app the guest buys the pass with a card; until they have it, the buy-actions are blocked; near expiry a one-tap renewal prompt appears.
The guest opens the Festival Pass screen and pays 75 kr with a card.
The pass is granted for one year.
The entry credential (wallet / QR / wristband) and buy-actions unlock automatically.
Without a pass, buy-actions are blocked: buying tickets/merch (StoreCheckout), topping up Beats (BeatsLoading), and linking a wristband (LinkWristband) all prompt for the pass first.
The block only fires on a definite “no pass”. Network errors fail open, so a guest is never wrongly locked out.
Near expiry, a renewal banner appears (it is one-time, not an auto-charging subscription). One tap re-buys and extends another year.
Not the same as Festival+. The Festival Pass is the required 75 kr access credential. Festival+ is the optional tiered membership (Spark/Pulse/Power) bought with Beats. See the Festival+ guide.
